This she did in 1997 setting up l.i.t.e. studio in a South London warehouse.

Lise added clients in the Far East to her portfolio whilst still working with Italy.
After a few years of spending more time in airplanes and taxis than at home in London Lise decided it was time for a sabbatical year.

In August 2001 she took off for some down time in Bali followed by nine months in New Zealand. During this time she designed and produced a l.i.t.e. range of t-shirts and developed ideas for textiles.

She was tracked down by MARELLA whilst still in NZ and worked on the S/S 2003 line from a studio space courtesy of the Wellington Buddhist Centre. In Sept. 2002 Lise returned to Europe and continued working with MARELLA - forecasting trends and design directions.

In nov 2002 Lise was comissioned by CASE da Abitare magazine to research and develop a Special Issue on interiors and lifestyle in NZ. She continued working with MARELLA from NZ the following season and then focused on completing the CASE editorial project.
